No matter what great changes these times may bring, every event in the present is based on an event that happened in the past. Every event in the present shapes what is to come. Countless numbers of Black Americans created the buildings and structures that we see not only in D.C. and the DMV area but all along the East Coast. Although we know the names of many, there are millions whose names are recorded in the encyclopedias of the Cosmic Universe. Each and every one known or unknown are directly responsible for this great and impressive Historic Journey.

The house where the President of the United States lives was built by freed and enslaved African people. Thousands of years ago, the most important man on the planet was an African Man. His title was “Nesut Bity,” Pharaoh of Egypt. He also lived in a place called, “The White House” (See Listervelt Middleton’s poem, “On the Origin of Things”). The greatest ancient structures in the world are located in Africa, all of them were built by Africans. Black hands built the Pyramids, the Ipet at Waset (Grand Lodge of Luxor) in Egypt (Kemet), and the White House in America.

Black hands not only built the White House in Washington, DC, but also developed the architectural design of the Nation’s Capitol. Benjamin Banneker, an African American descended from the Dogon people of Mali, West Africa was an astronomer and agriculturalist. Although many give credit to Pierre L’Enfant from France, we now know whoever designed Washington DC had to be an astronomer. Benjamin Banneker is credited with creating the first clock in America and he wrote the original Farmer’s Almanac. Farmer’s Almanacs rely heavily on Astronomy and Agriculture.
