Creative Imagination is one of the most important phases of the art of study.
When we read a book, each sentence we read opens consecutive batteries of thought charged by the intellectual impulse of the author; each word in the text is a thought-wave transmitted to us from the author’s mind to our mind.
These thought-wave transmissions connect neurons (nerve cells) in the readers brain the same way the connection occurred in the author’s brain as he/she wrote.
Our function is to tune our own receptive apparatus- our own mind-to harmonize and synthesize with the writer’s mental wavelength and thus recreating in our own consciousness the thoughts originally generated by the author.
This operation represents an intellectual penetration into, and assimilation of the vitality of the author’s original thoughts and ideas.
