Quibinar #56 - The Creative Spirituality

  • Creative Imagination is one of the most important phases of the art of study.
  • When we read a book, each sentence we read opens consecutive batteries of thought charged by the intellectual impulse of the author; each word in the text is a thought-wave transmitted to us from the author’s mind to our mind.
  • These thought-wave transmissions connect neurons (nerve cells) in the readers brain the same way the connection occurred in the author’s brain as he/she wrote.
  • Our function is to tune our own receptive apparatus- our own mind-to harmonize and synthesize with the writer’s mental wavelength and thus recreating in our own consciousness the thoughts originally generated by the author.
  • This operation represents an intellectual penetration into, and assimilation of the vitality of the author’s original thoughts and ideas.
