(DVD) (Video Stream) - Indianapolis, Indiana
On Saturday, July 14, 2018, the Indianapolis Black Exposition held their Film Festival, highlighting the Documentary, “Hidden Colors 4 – The Religion of White Supremacy.”
The first part of this DVD features a question and answer period after the film. It was very open and dynamic. The second part of the DVD is a workshop I facilitated at Dr. Diggs Ignite Academy, in the heart of Indianapolis. This school is named after the 1st graduate of the University of Indianapolis Education Department, and the 1st African-American Principal in the Indianapolis Public School System, Elder Diggs. What an experience. From when I first entered the school and saw a huge, colorful sign that said, “Hotep,” I knew I was in the right place. My presentation focused on “Brain Anatomy, and the Role the Neurons Play In Cultural Education” The audience was the school’s staff and community. I was invited to do this workshop by the school’s administrator, Principal ShyQuon Ely. This DVD is a must-see when we talk about what we must do in our schools. This is what I’m talkin’ ‘bout!
