• Broca’s and Wernicke’s Area in the Brain

The Center of Speech (when we talk and communicate) is the Broca area of the Brain.

The Center of Speech Comprehension (when we listen and understand) is the Wernicke area of the Brain.

• The Broca Section

The Broca area is a region in the frontal lobe of the dominant hemisphere, usually the left brain with functions linked to speech production.

• Wernicke’s Area (Speech Comprehension)

Wernicke’s area is involved in the comprehension of written, physical and spoken language, located on the left side of the Temporal lobe.
